Gunther Sanabria, Esq.
Born in Lima, Peru, Gunther Sanabria emigrated to the United States in 1991. The hardships along his journey inspired a desire to help others and a need to persevere through all obstacles.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1998 from the University of Florida and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He also possesses a Master of Laws in International Trade from American University.
Gunther was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004 and to the District of Columbia’s Bar in 2006, initially practicing criminal law. His discerning nature and in-depth knowledge led to his assignment to the Domestic Violence Division of the Palm Beach County Office of the State Attorney of Florida.
He is fluent in English and Spanish, the CEO of Sanabria & Associates, and works diligently to provide personal injury, immigration, and criminal law services to clients in need.

Lourdes M. Fuentes, Esq.

Lourdes M. Fuentes is a seasoned litigator with decades of experience in state and federal courts, as well as a background in technology and process methodologies.
Born and raised in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Lourdes attended Georgetown University School of Foreign Service where she graduated with honors. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School and became a litigator in New York City. She has been a partner at Grais & Ellsworth LLP for the past decade, as well as the Founder & CEO of Karta Legal LLC, a 2021 National Law Journal Legal Technology Trailblazer and award-winning legal operations and law firm management consultancy.
Lourdes has been selected as one of America’s Top 100 Bet The Company Litigators and has also been recognized by the New York Law Journal as a legal Trailblazer for being an “agent of change, thought leader and innovator.”
In addition to her law degree, Lourdes is a Legal Project Manager and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She brings to bear decades of expertise in law firm and practice management, and legal technology innovation. Lourdes has led the practice management and logistics of many high-profile cases, acting as Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Legal Operations in various roles prior to joining Sanabria & Associates. When asked to describe herself this is what she has to say: “I am part lawyer, manager, process maven, technologist, educator, Lean Six Sigma facilitator, and innovation driver.”

Eric Suarez, Esq.
Attorney Eric R. Suarez leads our immigration team as the Supervising Immigration Attorney. As a fellow immigrant, he understands the depths of his client’s needs and easily relates to their stories. He is fluent in both Spanish & English.
Eric emigrated to the United States from Cuba at the age of seven and grew up in Miami, Florida. He earned his A.A. degree from the Honors College at Miami Dade College and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. Upon completion, he enrolled to earn his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law, where he represented clients at the National Association for the Deaf. He also served as the President of the Latina/o Law Student Association and helped assure that unaccompanied minors had access to pro-bono representation before the Baltimore Immigration Court.
As an immigration attorney, he focuses his practice on removal defense, including bond, asylum, withholding of removal, and the intersection of immigration and criminal law. He has represented thousands of clients in Immigration Courts, Asylum Interviews, Reasonable Fear Interviews, as well as in interviews with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Furthermore, he has served as an advisor for criminal defense attorneys on immigration-related matters impacting their client’s criminal cases.
Eric prioritizes his clients and community above all. He is a member of the State Bar of Maryland, licensed to practice before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and takes pride in delivering results to his clients.

Emily Swartz, Esq.
Supervising Immigration Attorney
Before joining Sanabria & Associates, Emily Swartz worked for Kids in Need of Defense in Washington, DC. However, she developed her passion for immigration law after meeting Cubans who had attempted to flee the country while studying abroad in Havana during her undergraduate education.
After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013, Emily enrolled in Indiana University Maurer School of Law where she would earn her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she received a fellowship to live and work in New Delhi, India, and volunteered for the Indiana Legal Services Migrant Farmworker Law Center.
She is fluent in Spanish, a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, and concentrates her practice in immigration law.

Rodney Hernandez, Esq.
Senior Immigration Attorney
Born and raised in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Rodney Hernandez graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting. After graduation, he attended the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico where he again graduated Cum Laude, this time obtaining two master’s degrees in Business Administration while majoring in Accounting and Finance. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, after which he was admitted to practice law in the territory.
His career in the immigration field began in Florida, where he focused his practice on cases dealing with asylum, family-based petitions, and removal cases. In his tenure, he has represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals and has had the opportunity to work on USCIS cases as well.
Rodney specializes in immigration law, is fluent in English and Spanish, and will fight for your rights.

Ricardo J. Murga, Esq.
Senior Immigration Attorney
He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he represented clients as a student attorney under the supervision of the UB Immigrant Rights Clinic. Ricardo also served as President for both the Latin American Law Student Association and Immigrant Law Society at his school. During his time as President, his board kickstarted a fundraiser that helped fund applications for DACA recipients, covering legal costs and government fees. Additionally, his organizations participated in leadership programs focused on guiding local Baltimorean high school students through the college application process.
Ricardo speaks fluent Spanish and English and has a basic knowledge of French. He is an excellent choice for all your legal needs.
