Jose Zelada

Jose Zelada is an Associate Attorney with Sanabria & Associates in the Silver Spring, Maryland office. His practice focuses on Immigration Law and Special Immigrant Juvenile cases in Maryland state court.

Jose earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Jose later earned a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there Jose participated in mock trials, negotiation and mediation clinics and was a founder member of the Legal Data and Design clinic.

Jose has been working in the Immigration field in many capacities since 2012, working specifically as an immigration attorney since 2022. Over his time in the Immigration field he has worked on cases ranging from representation of clients in the Arlington, Annandale, Sterling, Hyattsville, Baltimore, and Miami immigration courts; has prepared forms and petitions filed with USCIS and has prepared clients for overseas interviews with the U.S. Consulate in several countries.
Before joining Sanabria and Associates Jose spent 12 years at his prior firm. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
