    Workers’ Compensation is a type of insurance that provides benefits if you suffer an on-the-job accident with an injury, regardless of who of what caused the accident. Most employer are required to have this insurance coverage, which is provided at no cost to you. 
    You may be covered by Workers’ Compensation and not know it. Workers’ Compensation covers workers who are paid hourly and by salary, and also covers volunteers and minors. You are covered from your first day at work- there is no waiting period. 
    You have the right to report a work related injury without fear of retaliation by your employer.
    Medical treatment which is authorized by the insurance carrier is provided to you at no cost. This includes doctor’s visits, x-rays, MRIs, medical procedures and therapy. We can also obtain reimbursement for mileage when you drive yourself to your medical appointments, or in some cases obtain medical transportation for you.
    You may also qualify for payment of lost wages, if the injury results in you being unable to return to work, either totally or partially.
    You have the right to dispute any denial of benefits or your claim.
    We don’t charge you any fees unless we win and obtain your benefits.

  • Does my injury qualify as a worker’s compensation injury?

    Workers’ compensation benefits are available to employees that are injured or experience an injury while on the job. These injures include physical injuries, as well as repetitive trauma and occupational diseases that develop over time. You may even be able to file a claim if you were injured as the result of actions by a co-worker or other third party. We are here to review the facts of your injury and to see if we are able to file for your workers’ compensation benefits. 

  • Who is covered by Workers Compensation?

    Workers’ Compensation coverage and benefits are available to many types of workers. It does not matter if you are paid hourly or by salary, if you are a volunteer, or even if you are in training or are in a probationary period. You are covered from the first day at work with your employer. You can also seek benefits regardless of your immigration status. Workers’ Compensation benefits can be claimed for injuries you sustain while traveling in a work vehicle that is involved in an accident. You don’t have to have any type of private health insurance, and it also does not matter who or what caused the accident and injury to occur. 

  • What benefits can I get?

    Your benefits may include reimbursement for lost wages; medical testing and treatment; physical therapy; prescription medications; transportation or reimbursement for mileage to authorized medical appointments; and reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. 

  • What do I have to pay you?
