Rodney Hernandez

Rodney R. Hernandez is a Senior Immigration Attorney at Sanabria & Associates, PLLC. Rodney oversees the operations of the Orlando and Homestead offices and leads the management and performance of the attorneys and paralegals within his purview.

At an early age, Rodney Hernandez knew he wanted to be an attorney. The prospect of fighting injustice and helping people who did not understand the complicated legal system always drove him and shaped him to become the kind of attorney who is hands-on, compassionate, effective, and assertive.

Rodney was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting. Also, earned his M.B.A. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico where he again graduated Cum Laude, this time obtaining two master's degrees in accounting and finance. Rodney graduated law school from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where he also was a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

For more than 15 years, Rodney has been practicing law as a trail lawyer, legal counsel, and Immigration Attorney. Rodney understands the depths of his client’s needs and easily relates to their stories. As an immigration attorney, Rodney has represented clients in removal defense, bonds, asylum, cancelation of removal and withholding of removal in courts across the country. He also focused his practice on cases dealing with business immigration, employment visas and investor visas. Furthermore, he has represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals and on reasonable fear interview cases as well.

Rodney is fluent in English and Spanish, and he is a member of the State Bar of Puerto Rico.
