Abril Abad

Abril Abad is an Associate Attorney at Sanabria & Associates where she manages the Kendall office and focuses her practice on immigration law.

Abril was born in Caracas, Venezuela and emigrated to the United States at the age of seven. Early on, she experienced the hardships and confusion that many individuals experience during their immigration process. With that, she was inspired to pursue her career in immigration law and help others.

She graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Upon completion, she attended Ave Maria School of Law. While in law school, she was the Founder and President of the Criminal Justice Society and President of the Latino Law Student Association. Prior to graduation, she was a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where she assisted in prosecuting misdemeanor cases.

Abril is a member of the Florida Bar. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
