Owen Thomas

Owen Thomas grew up in San Mateo, California and graduated from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. He earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in Government Service and Regulatory Institutions. While attending law school, he completed coursework in business immigration.

Owen began his career in immigration law serving the immigrant community in Baltimore, Maryland for three years before moving to Minnesota's Twin Cities. He has experience in asylum, removal defense, and other immigration matters. He is a member of the Minnesota Bar.

Owen is motivated by religious and ethical convictions to keep ordinary immigrants secure in the United States where they can thrive and enrich their communities. He pays close attention to foreign affairs and knows at least a little bit about every country in the world. Outside work, Owen is involved with his church and enjoys literature, film, theater and baseball.
