Jennifer is a passionate and accomplished immigration attorney whose career bridges law, public policy, and human rights advocacy. With a deep commitment to constitutional law and immigrant justice, Jennifer brings a unique blend of legal expertise, public administration experience, and a strong academic foundation to her practice.
She earned her B.A. in Sociology, Master of Public Administration (MPA), and Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico. Her professional journey began in Washington, D.C., where she interned at the United States House of Representatives, gaining firsthand insight into federal legislative processes.
During law school, Jennifer served nearly two years at the Puerto Rico Senate’s Finance, Federal Affairs, and Oversight Board Committee, sharpening her analytical and policy-making skills. After passing the bar, she clerked for two years at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals, where she supported judicial decisions across a wide range of civil and criminal cases.
Jennifer is also a published legal writer, contributing four articles to the University of Puerto Rico Law Review’s digital platform, In Rev. Her writing reflects her intersectional feminist perspective and her dedication to immigrant rights, shaped by her early leadership in Amnesty International and her academic focus on human rights violations affecting global migrant communities.
Fluent in both legal theory and practical advocacy, Jennifer is driven by a mission to uphold justice and dignity for immigrants through thoughtful, strategic legal representation.
