Attorney

Robert Anselmo

Robert M. Anselmo is an Associate Attorney at Sanabria & Associates PLLC. He heads the Workers’ Compensation practice at the Firm and is also part of the Personal Injury department.
Robert has almost twenty years of experience. For most of his legal career, he has represented injured workers in their fight to obtain the benefits and medical care they are due. Prior to this, he has represented un-insured employers and insurance carriers. This experience representing both sides of these claims has provided him with an extensive understanding of the Workers’ Compensation system, which he now uses to assist his clients in understanding their rights under the complicated Workers’ Compensation statutes and prevailing in obtaining benefits and settlements for his clients.

Robert was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park and completed his bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. While attending St. Mary’s University, he was a member of editorial board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal, and was honored to be selected to have one of his articles selected for publication.

For more than a decade, Robert has dedicated his practice to helping injured workers understand and navigate the complicated Workers’ Compensation benefits system, and he understands that a workplace accident causes not only injury to your body and a loss of wages, but also impacts your entire life, including your relationship with your family, your finances, and your future. He is dedicated to helping you understand the Workers’ Compensation process, what benefits you are due and working to obtain those benefits for you.

Robert is involved with his local community and provides pro bono work in providing community-issued identification cards and participating in other non-legal community projects including assisting the homeless population. Robert also has worked extensively with children that are victims of abuse and their families.
Robert is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
