Attorney Eric R. Suarez leads our immigration team as a Supervising Immigration Attorney and Managing Partner at Sanabria & Associates.
Eric prioritizes his clients and community above all else and takes the time to understand the depths of his client’s needs and unique situations. Emigrating to the United States from Cuba at the age of seven, Eric developed a special interest in immigration law and takes pride in delivering results for his clients. He has represented thousands of clients in Immigration Courts, Asylum Interviews, Reasonable Fear Interviews, as well as interviews with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. He specializes in legal defense related to bond, asylum, deportation, and the intersection of immigration and criminal law.
Eric Suarez is a member of the State Bar of Maryland and is licensed to practice before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his A.A. degree from the Honors College at Miami Dade College and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. Upon completion, Eric pursued his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law. During this time, he represented clients at the National Association for the Deaf and served as the President of the Latina/o Law Student Association. As President, Eric worked to ensure pro-bono representation for unaccompanied minors before the Baltimore Immigration Court and served as an advisor for criminal defense attorneys on immigration-related matters, positively impacting their client’s criminal cases.
